Amelia Earhart Park
Imagine 515 acres of fresh air, grass and trees with tons of bike paths and places to stop along your ride. That’s what Amelia Earhart Park brings to the table. This is one of South Florida’s most popular parks, and it’s easy to see why.
On top of all the bike trails, the park offers a five-acre dog park, a petting zoo, soccer fields, water features, picnic facilities, playgrounds and more. If you’re looking to make your bike rides an event for the whole family, this is the place to be.
Cape Florida State Park
If you want to add some sand to your bike riding route, look no further than the Cape Florida State Park. This park features one of the highest rated beaches in the entire state.
While you’re riding in Cape Florida, you’ll get to take in all the sights, including a whole collection of old fishing shacks called Stiltsville. And don’t forget Miami-Dade County’s oldest structure, the Cape Florida Lighthouse.
Everglades National Park
There’s nothing quite like experiencing wildlife on your bike ride, and Everglades National Park is just the place to do that. It’s not a rare thing to see a gator or two basking in the sun along the trails and cyclists have gotten used to it. With gators so close, it’s good you’ll be using an e-bike to give yourself an extra boost of speed…just in case.
Apart from the wildlife, Everglades National Park also gives you a chance to see the Nike Hercules Missile Site, Otter Cove and the Bobcat Boardwalk. You can easily go for a quick ride here or choose to stay the day.
South Pointe Park and Pier
The South Pointe Park and Pier lies on the southernmost point of South Beach and it’s definitely a sight to see. It’s one of the most beautiful locations on our list and it offers some of the most comfortable riding paths. With tons of shade on the bike paths and an observatory deck along the way, this is the best place to take leisurely rides on your new electric bike. At the end of your ride, you can even find a spot on the pier to relax and sunbathe.
